President honours past Cardiff Chairmen Allan McMullen flew in to Cardiff on Friday 30th September to join members and guests in celebrating 38 years of the Institute's Cardiff Centre. Pictured left to right: Norman Jones, Gordon Sivyer, Allan McMullen, Jill Turner and Seririol Davies. In that time, there have been 35 different chairmen and 22 were able to attend on the night. In his speech, Allan referred to the important work done by centre committees and their chairmen in delivering events that match the criteria associated with the institute's CPD requirements, as well as social events. Guest of honour was Dr. Jill Turner representing her late husband James who was the first chairman in 1967. Also attending were Norman Jones 1969, Seiriol Davies 1971 and Gordon Sivyer 1974. The president presented medals to all the chairmen attending and is pictured with some of the veterans.
